Here it is 7am, I'm still half alseep and warm and cozy under the covers and I hear him come in to get dressed. This is our conversation...
Me: Is it cold?
Him: Yep.
Me: I guess I'll just have to be cold this morning.
Him: Why?
Me: If I crank the car to let it warm up, it'll run outta gas before I can get to the store.
Him: Why didn't you put gas in your car?
Me: Because I wanted to hear you bitch at me.
It was funnier than telling him I was too lazy in a hurry to get home to paint a canvas.
A few minutes later, I hear the back door open and close and then my car crank up and I'm thinking he's gonna try to warm it up anyway. But he doesn't stop there - he got in, shut the door and drove away.
This incredibly thoughful and generous man went out in the freezing weather to the store to put gas in MY car and warm it up in the process so I didnt have to be cold on the way to work. Oh, how I love him!
The icing on the top??? He brought back an ICE COLD MOUNTAIN DEW! That's my coffee!
